Daughters of the King

This is a reminder for all daughters of the King (myself included). Do you realize that we are His princesses? Our Heavenly Father paid the price for us. He loves us. Magnificent God loves little us. He forgives us. No matter the cost, Jesus already paid it. We are heirs to His Kingdom. We are His daughters. His Daughters. It's up to us to wear the crown or not. To act like the princesses He made us to be. (Image Source: Veer.com)

"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons [and daughters] of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not." 1 John 3:1 (KJV)

The Message reads: "What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we're called children of God! That's who we really are. But that's also why the world doesn't recognize us or take us seriously, because it has no idea who he is or what he's up to."

Maybe you know this. Maybe you've heard it before. But let it sink in. This is a truth I was reminded of tonight. Our church is having a week long event called One Thing, a time of worship, teaching, freedom, restoration and basking in God's presence. Tonight at the women's service, one of the main points was to realize who we are in Christ and the potential we have as His daughters. Stop living in the past. Release the guilt and disappointments that have been holding you back. Accept His grace and forgiveness. And step into His loving embrace. That's where true freedom lives.

Our God is a God Who saves. He wants to know you. He wants to welcome you in. He created you and destined you for a purpose.

Will you wear the crown?
