Hello Beloved Blog Readers! I hope you are enjoying this first day of spring, which is also my 28th birthday! Can you believe it? I can't. It feels like I just turned 23 and was about to get married. How does time go by that fast? Speaking of time, where have I been? I don't know how 2 weeks slipped away from me without any posts. So, to make it up to you, I'm having my first ever giveaway!

  1. my birthday is right before valentine's day, so my mom did a heart themed party for me when i was in middle school--complete with heart cookies, pink punch with ice cubs (with cherries frozen in them!), and red and pink everywhere! i felt like a princess!

  2. I actually don't remember a bad birthday, so I am thankful for that. I loved it that my mom had us pick a cake out of the Betty Crocker cookbook and she would make it- I think my favorite was a castle. I loved my 16th birthday- it was a surprise party with all my friends and family- and for once I was actually surprised!

  3. One birthday that always comes to mind is when I was about 3 years old. My birthday party was in McDonald's! Back in the early 80's, this was a hot spot for birthdays :) It was a great time with my cousins and immediate family!
